Baby lotion

Ftm here and I have Johnsons babe lotion and so do I use it on newborns right away or does it take weeks?

Lotion is fine, but try to use one that's unscented and doesn't have perfumes in it for the first little bit. Newborn's skin is so sensitive, anything with perfumes in it might irritate their skin a bit.

Thank you ladies and @honkaaa like these women said they're skin can lose moister..like why do we use lotions? Our skin gets dry..

Of course you can, babies lose moisture in their skin faster than adults.

I know coconut oil works and is safe, and is minus all the chemicals

Why would you use lotions on a newborn skin? Its so soft as it is, why put chemicals on it right away
