baby shower?

If I'm due March 25,2015 when would be the right time to start planning out my baby shower? I've heard people say 6 weeks before the baby is due but not too sure. . .

I'm due March 20 and I'm having my shower January 10. But it depends entirely on you and what you want.

im due the beginning of february and having one this weekend, ...i dont want one after or during thanksgiving weekend, or black friday or during christmas time either. Everyone will either be too busy, to tight on money, or not around and it will be too cold so id rather avoid the end of november through new years

Usually a month or 2 before just in case you don't get everything you need, it gives you enough time to still pick up things

;)
you could just have it after the baby's born also, I've been thinking about that too. When my mom had me she bought infant things and I came out 9 lbs 8oz. Lol so my little infant clothes didn't fit!
Just a thought!

With the baby showers I've been to, and my own as well, it seems the most common to have it between two months and a month before you're due. Although I don't see a problem with having one as soon as you know the gender (for the same reason that was stated already.) (:

I'm due February 20th and I'm not planning to have a baby shower but if I do it'll be a small one with just family around Christmas, everyone will be home from school or visiting for the holidays. I'd say do it whenever you find out the sex, if you plan on finding out. So if you want certain color things you can add it to your registry
