Baby shower?

I'm a first time mom to be, have any of you had any problems planning your baby shower? What will friends expect? Should everyone be bringing gifts for the baby? I'm find this to be very difficult because I've never planned a shower or have been to one before. Can i get some tips and answers please?. I'm due on July 5 and my shower is set for the 24 of May. Any ideas?

Pinterest. Seriously, my sister and mother in law are planning mine, but Pinterest has some of the best guides to registries, games, budget friendly planning and food. Plus a lot of diy decorations and much much more!

Is there a reason you're planning your own shower? Normally a friend, future Godparent or family member throws it. A shower is to share the special time in your life with the special people in your life although gifts are the norm you shouldn't expect them. Start by making a list of people you would like to attend then pick a store to register for items you would like. The store will give you registry cards to add to the envelopes of invitations. Be prepared not everyone follows the registry we received 4 bouncers last weekend. If it was up to me I would have had a BBQ after the baby was born, my family on the other hand surprised me with a shower.

Lots of games to play E.g who can put a nappy on a baby(dolly) the fastest, who can drink from a bottle fastest, we played dares and whoever didn't want to do the dare had to eat baby food. Jus silly competition baby games really. Google baby shower games.It's a good idea to make a baby list of things u need so people can chose what to bring everyone should bring a gift.prepare  lots of food and just have fun really. Hope that gives you an idea
