Baby's weight

Okay this is my first pregnancy so I'm learning as I go along. Okay I'm 26 wks (6 months) preggo with a baby girl and the doctor said she is 2lbs & 5oz. Is she considered too big right now, is this normal? Is anyone else having a big baby from what you are experiencing? I figured shes going to be tall and chuuuubby as a baby (lol) I'm asking Because my auntie is 7 months and her baby girl is 2lbs & 7oz. & my cousin is 8 months and her baby is 3lbs. I'm just curious to see who else baby is a little big if that makes sense

My baby boy's estimated weight was 2lbs 9oz at 26 weeks 5 days which was 86th percentile.  I was 6lbs 3 oz at birth and hubby was in the 7's.

I'm 28 weeks and my baby boy weighs around the same as your baby. Doctor said he's a little big but nothing concerning.

It's hard to tell. You can ask your dr what percentile she's in. That would tell you more if she's a big baby. At 22 weeks, my girl was about 1.5 lbs and at 32 weeks she measured 4.5 lbs. They said she was in the 55th percentile at 22 weeks and at 32 weeks she was exactly in the 50th percentile.
