Bag for hospital

Hello mommies! I am 34 weeks and I have done some research for my hospital bag. What to take, what not to take, and so on. Can you guys give me some honest feedback on things I will need and not need or things you wished you should have brought but didn't. The time is near and I would like to try to be prepared and get the additional things now before its to late. Thanks a bunch!

this is my third pregnancy,  I've learn the less you take the better, if it's a vag birth you'll only be there for two days. the last thing you want is taking unnecessary item with you, that you'll have to drag home plus with new baby. So here is a list of stuff you'll actually need!! Good luck

Must haves for you **
* house slippers, warm / non slip socks
* lose fitting clothing
* your own pads if you choose (most hospitals provide them though)
* camera / chargers
* hair tie
*make up (if any)
* personal items ( shampoo /conditioner,  body wash  tooth paste /brush,  hair brush,  breast pads.
* going home outfit for you + baby

Must haves for baby***
* socks
*hat
* warm blanket for the trip home
* car seat already installed
* *** leave diapers+ wipes at home the hospital provides them so save yours!!!

Must haves for hubby***
* change of cloths
* house shoes
* change/money for vending machine
* snacks
* & personals

Hope this list helps! I'm 32 weeks and just now getting mine together slowly but surly

Ohh one thing I must add. Took three times to get right Lol. Travel size everything (shampoo ect) reason being you don't want to carry around big bottles of personal items   it gets heavy!! We just spent $7 and got everything we need! Shampoo, his& my body wash, tooth paste, cond/. Mouth wash!! You can get little deodorant,  little razors.  Ect. Walmart!!! Travel size bottles range from $.97 - $1.47

Take a couple onesie warm outfits for your baby of course.  Cute beanies and socks a pacifier... In the car have a baby blanket ready..November it gets cold! Out here in california photographers come by after delivery to take pics of your and baby and baby daddy. Not mandatory but its cute! It's nice to be prepared.  Take comfortable sweat pants..comfortable tops and 1 sweater.  Tooth brush tooth paste..underwear..and comfortable shoes.  I recommend you leave you leave your rings at home i noticed last baby i swelled up from all the IV drips they were pumping in my system. I couldn't take off my rings when I saw my fingers swell up lol! This time around I'll be more prepared.  Usually hospital had whatever else you may need...also be sure to ask for plenty of the ice packs for your kitty (haha)if you have extra take then home!take whatever you can home. Numbing spray for the kitty too works wonders! Good luck!!

&& also the numbing spray,  or as she calls is(Kitty spray) the hospital provides only if you need stitches down there. If you don't then you don't need it. If you do the hospital gives you a can. Didn't want you to be confused thinking this is something to buy!! Lol good luck happy to help: -)
