Before labor,

Does everyone experience diahrea or an easier time going to the bathroom before labor? Or have there been some who hasn't experienced this?

I had a lot more bowel movements the weeks and days leading up to the birth of my daughter. Itv really picked up the last week. And the day before it was back to back. Its your body clearing your system out.

This is all really good to know. I have been having an easier time using the bathroom since yesterday (due date) and now I'm just waiting till it's time.

This is good for all first time moms not knowing what to expect and I really appreciate everyone taking the time to comment on here! Different experiences help is prepare and also to know things "normally" can go this way but it is also possible for it to go another way as well.

This is my first baby so I believe what I learned in birthing class and by reading "what to expect when expecting" that diaherrea in 3rd trimester and before birth is normal.

BTW...I get it first day of my period, monthly like clock work....horomones surge and I am told it's normal

I had diarrhea with my first baby the night before I  went into labor. definitely made my cramping and labor so much harder:/ ...diarrhea can be Sign of labor

I had diarrhea badly starting at 22 weeks found out two weeks later it was bc my cervix was 50% thinned out. I had diarrhea for a total of 5 weeks now it's just really easy to go. I'm 29 weeks.

Thank you! I have been wondering. I just want to know what to expect, and also know whether it can happen if I'm still having trouble or if it's only when things ease up. My due date is tomorrow, I'm unsure she will actually come but I just want to know everything.

I was still constipated before labor. The nurse told me I was so backed up I needed to try to use the bathroom while I was in full blown labor!! That was not fun at all

I'm wondering if this happens with everyone or if some still have trouble using the bathroom before labor?

In the last few days before labour I had a much easier time going to the toilet. The day before I had gone 3 times. I knew something was gunna happen soon as it wasn't like me at all, pregnant or not :)

Were you constipated still? (if ever) was anyone still constipated?

this is the first i have had diarrhea an this is my fifth...

Well in my experience with 3 previous pregnancies i only got diahrea on a few days before labor on my last baby but not on the other 2

i been having contractions sense 11 pm an been having diarrhea its so not cute but i hope something happens soon...
