It is so hard to decode what to do since this is such a large commitment for him to make. I think the combo of baked goods, gift card and thank you note is the way I'm going to go. ;) thanks ladies

Or maybe when you come back to teach, on his last day you can surprise him with your students help with a big party! Or invite him and his SO to dinner! Gosh it's exciting to know there are such good people!
