Big belly after birth

Hello friends,

My wife gave birth to twins two months back through C-Section, but her belly is still large, doctors used to tell her that it will take time to get flatter but we are getting concerned as no progress yet. Can you tell me about/your friends similar experience?  What can be a good treatment for this? Thanks

It takes a while for the tummy to go back, your wife has a double load and stretched more but going down it will. Remember the uterus is swollen just after birth and hers was extra swollen. Dont be influenced by the celebrities who appear to have melted everything overnight and looks magically perfect again. Excercising abs just 2 months after c section might not be a good idea coz while she might have healed externally, the uterine wound has not healed completely and tummy targeting excercises might do more harm. Any excercise that does not overwork her tummy muscles wld be good.  And as someone indicated, just continuing massaging the tummy with the oils/ cream  she has been using would help. There are also some post partum belts sold online or some shops that gently compresses the belly.  Just needs patience.

Hey it will go back to normal... Use cocoa butter lotion everyday. Thats what I did. But it's still going to take a while for it to get back normal. how long ago did she have the twins? she could work her abs. but all I did was use cocoa butter lotion. and I was gone pretty fast but I didn't have twins.. I hope this helps
