Wow what a great response pp ,
Hey momma77 you ever get chance to read my response? ^
My post got cut off but that's such a nice guester two post before mine. I go to once upon a child sometimes .they have dollar sales and all kinds of clothes. You can even sale stuff if you ever have anything you think u can trade to get a bigger set . Also a lot of churches helped my sister she got all new clothing when times we're hard. I hope your not embarrassed every one needs help sometime I hope you come back to your post . it a lot of good responses. Good luck, god bless
Where are you from? Have you claimed all your benefits? Child tax etc thats the only way i see you getting money other then unemployment. But this is UK side
Me and my husband have a 10 month old and we have alot clothes that are new with tags or just worn once , is your 7 month old happen to be a girl? I can send you a box?? All our clothes are brands expensive we wanna share em and pass them to you .
If There Is Cash assistance Available Try That Its Like Food Stamps But You Can Buy Anythinq
You should try to see if you qualify for welfare....and there is also wic....Goodluck hope everything works out for you
babymom, I looked through your profile and it seems like you've been struggling with money issues for awhile. Is it possible that there really isn't enough money in your home to be able to afford upscale department store clothing?
If that's the case, children as young as yours really don't care what their clothing looks like to adults. If you buy yard sale clothes they don't know the difference.
No u can't get unemployment if you haven't worked and you have to show proof you're looking for a job and go to classes. Maybe stop by goodwill or yard sales for clothes.
You can try wic if your husband doesn't make enough. For us we have to be below the 200 poverty line threshold. My husband lost his job in October and he got unemployment but only because they fired with no reason. Normally unemployment is only for those who lost their job for a stupid reason or no reason at all like my husband or laid off. WIC can help but depends on what the state your in qualifies. My husband just found a job this month and I'm still covered under medicaid and everything because he makes minimum wage, but gets commission check that doesn't show up on taxes so it looks like he makes diddly squat.
Naw you can't get unemployment without working
Well not sure about the other parts to your question but, if you're a stay at home and you have some free time, how about sewing? I don't know how active your kids are but that could be an option.
I guess he's going by they grow so quick so why get them new clothes...
There's also websites or even eBay to get new looking used or new clothes for a low price. Search for "lots" when searching. I got 17 outfits for 8 bucks.
I only have a few new outfits for my baby and will probably receive some at the baby shower. I don't mind used clothes that were barely used since they do grow quickly and I'll pass them on to a friend or family member that is going to have a baby after my baby outgrows them. That's how my friends have lots of clothes, their friends or family gifted then with the used clothing and they look quite new.
There are loaner/exchange groups you can try searching for one near you
I don't know about where you live, but where I live you have to work and pay into e.i. for so long in order to be able to qualify to go on unemployment. Plus I think a condition of going on unemployment is you have to provide proof that you're looking for a job. They're not just going to give you money for sitting at home if you have no intention of getting a job in the near future.
