Bloody Mucus && High Blood Pressure

I was checked on Monday by my doctor who told me I'm 1cm dilated...later that day I experienced cramping with some bleeding and mild contractions...My mom explained to me that it was just from checking...well I wasn't able to sleep do to discomfort && pain..Tuesday morning I felt wetness I went to wipe myself only to find a tissue full of mucus and blood (scared me to death lol) was advised by a triage nurse I need to go to L & D immediately...I was there for a 4 hours and my blood pressure went thru the roof...never had high blood pressure before nor during my pregnancy now they want to induce me tomorrow or Friday && I'm kinda worried :-/ cuz now I've been leaking n can't see my doc til tomorrow morning

Yeah it was just weird when the lady told me 147/94 I'm like how?! But she told me it can get high due to labor pain, anxiety etc...so I just tried to relax myself but it still rose up to about 150/98 I believe...&& the bloody mucus I was shocked because I was expecting a small jelly like thing but it was no where near that...I'm still experiencing some mucus it's just clear now

Your high blood pressure  may have been from you being stressed. I would think the bloody mucus is your mucus plug. Seeing that is normal. You may just be in normal labor. Try to relax. You may not have to be induced.
