Breast feeding?

I had to pretty much stop breast feeding because my son has jaundice, although ive been still pumping.. Ive had to switch to formula and mixing in the breast milk to be able to feed him enough.. Now that he is doing better, Im wanting to go back to beast feeding but Im having trouble.. It was already difficult in the beginning as he was fighting to latch on or when he did he would fall asleep.. Now Im not producing much milk n he is having the same latching problems. Does anyone have any suggestions?

There are lots of things you can eat and take to help produce extra milk or increase your milk I should day. Oatmeal is one and i believe bran and flax seed help and there is a organic all natural pill called fenugreek that is supposed to help also. Drink tons of milk and water to keep your hydration up also and that helps produce more milk. Get in contact with a lactation consultant to help with the latch. Either at the hospital or if you can get to a wic office they can help with match. Also you tube videos. Find someone local tho that can help you because that will be the best thing for you.
