Breast milk

When does breast milk come in??? My girl is due any day now and I've had no signs of milk. Will it come in after labor? I plan on breast feeding but don't know if there will be enough or even any to give her

Yes for the first couple of days you will get the "liquid gold" like geekmom said and it is enough for baby it is for the immune system...as soon as your milk comes in you'll definitely know cause your breasts will get harder, when mine first came in every time I had a shower it would squirt EVERYWHERE lolz...sori if tmi

I had no signs of discharge whatsoever before delivering my son but the moment he was born I brought him to my breast and he was able to draw out colostrum, also known as pre-milk. This "liquid gold" was plenty to sustain him and his teeny tiny tummy for the first couple of days. My milk supply came in three days after delivery and I nursed him for two full years.
You have absolutely nothing to worry about.
