Breastfeeding

Hello mommies!
So, I see recently had my daughter on 10/22 . I originally started off breastfeeding however a couple days later I realized it was not going to work for us so now I'm having a problem with engorged breasts. Any ideas of how I can dry the milk up or at least east the discomfort. I tried pumping it out manually but only a little was coming out at a time and I also don't want to keep stimulating the production of milk by pumping . Any suggestions?

I noticed relief from the discomfort after the first day. I would also suggest not to wear a bra till if goes down. Lot of times a bra can aide in engorging

About how long did it take for it to go down or dry up with the cabbage leaves? This is extremely uncomfortable ):

just pumping a little bit to relieve the fullness is ok, you don't want to empty them. and one thing that I did when I became engorged is put a cabbage leaf over your breasts till it wilts. then repeat. do that a couple times throughout the day
