Thank you so much. I will be sure to ask about that. Thanks for opinion it makes me stress/worry alot less. I know it's not good , but it's scary business. Essentially considering the fact I just went through a miscarriage almost 2 months ago and it took a toll on me.

I am 22 weeks. I had pain/cramps, sometimes very intense, for the first 5 weeks (never bleeding) because I have fibroids. They told me it was implantation pain or the uterus stretching at the beginning, but I knew there was something wrong (the pain was too much). I never had symptoms or problems before pregnancy even though I knew that I had the fibroids. Then I had the worst unbearable pain in the 19 week for 5 days, again for fibroids. I went to ER twice but they just confirm the fibroids and didn't help me or prescribed me with pain medicine because I am pregnant. My doctor had to prescribe me Tylenol with codeine (I had to take them several times but it didnt' help me very much) and she later prescribed Percocet (I didnt take them because the pain is gone thank God); another specialist confirm that these pain medicines dont affect my baby and that at the ER they could have put me an IV with pain medicine. He adviced me to always try to contact my doctor. If the pain is like an intense period pain (almost unbearable) and no bleeding, ask about fibroids and ask for an ultrasound. If cramps with bleeding call your doctor.

If it is accompanied by bleeding then you need to go to your doctor or to the er. But if it is just cramps then it is just your uterus stretching and getting ready for the baby.

When in doubt....call the doctor.  Better to be safe than sorry.
