I naturally went off coffee.. even before I knew I was pregnant.. which for me was odd because I'm a 1-a-day person normally

Caffeine is a diuretic, which means it makes you pee..so the threat of dehydration is higher. It also interferes with your ability to absorb important nutrients like iron. So according to the books they dropped the safe level of caffeine a day from 300ml to 200ml...I love coffee in the mornings not just from the boost but because I like it. So I've hated cutting down to almost nothing. But better safe then sorry esspecially since many random things can contain caffeine like chocolate. Try switching to decaf like I did or even do a half cafe mix if you need it. Good luck

Depends on how much you drink,  but it's not terribly harmful. As stated, I'd stick to 2 cups of coffee a day or 3 10 oz. Sodas a day. No big deal really though.

You can have 2 cups of coffee daily. I drink coffee but not everyday and never have so I didn't have to change my caffeine intake

I'm a coke and coffee fanatic. I cut out daily coffee completely, only indulging in a small iced coffee or frappe every blue moon. Coke on the other hand was so much harder.  I try to limit myself to a glass a few times a week. It makes the baby very active.
