Car seat

So the car seat that my mom had for me turned out to be expired. ;( so I ordered a brand new one online and I won't be here until March 10th. I'm due the 27th of March but I'm afraid she's going to come early and I won't have a car seat. Ughhhh!! I wish she would have checked it a long time ago like I wanted her to

The hospitals sometimes have car seats you can rent/borrow if you don't have one when baby comes

She didn't buy the car seat. It was my 4 year old step sisters

She could've bought a convertible car seat instead of the infant. They last longer!

You are not going to be the perfect mother. Don't hold up such a high standard for yourself. But as long as you love your child and do your best, you will be a great mother.

Thank you!! That was really sweet of you. I'm a ftm so I'm extremely nervous and I want to be the perfect mother. I appreciate that a lot

Stay positive!  The chances your baby will arrive that far before your due date are really minimal. The important thing is that your baby will be safe in a brand new carseat. After you get it, go to your local fire department and ask a trained tech to help you learn how to correctly install it - it looks easy but over 80% of seats aren't safely installed so you know there are some tricks to getting it right!
Try not to stress. You're doing exactly the right thing. Your baby won't know it quite yet, but you're already a good mommy :-)
