Carrying baby in back, or ???

I am 20 weeks along with a boy, not showing, he is my first and I know that first born babies (especially boys) don't start showing for a while. I have been having a ton of back pain and cannot do anything to relieve it. Someone suggested that I might be carrying him in my back, is this bad? Could this be what is happening and why I am not showing yet?

well that makes sense, during my ultrasound the tech said he was facing my back so I can understand that.... and yes, baby2014, I was a fitness freak before pregnancy and had solid hard 6 pack so that could definitely be a reason.

My boy is consistantly facing my back in his ultrasound photos and I'm not very big (31 weeks). So its definitely a possibility.  I think its more likely we will have back labor which ***** as I've heard but they could always change position before then.  My only problem is constant sciatic nerve pain and baby boy won't show his face for my ultrasounds :-(

He maybe closer to your back. I don't think I was very big at 20 weeks with my little boy. O showed a lot earlier this time. With my last I think I was 25 weeks when you could really tell.

If you were pretty toned before you got pregnant then that could be another reason. I have a lot of back pain this time. It wasn't as bad when I was pregnant with my boy.
