Circumcisions, yea or nay?

Hi ladies,

I know I'm having a boy and I'm a little conflicted on the topic of circumcision. My husband wants to circumcise our son. I'm inclined to agree because frankly I don't have the equipment he does, so I'm assuming he knows better. My sister, on the other hand, is a labor and delivery nurse and she says that there's really no good reason to circumcise a boy (other than of course, religious reasons, and I don't mean to offend anyone). So I'm wondering if any of you ladies already have sons, or if any of you are expecting boys, how are you handling their little members and why?

you can't pull the skin back for like a year after they are born.i personally work with elders and its really hard to clean and it holds a smell.

My boyfriend is circumcised and he wants our son to be circumcised as well. So my baby boy will be and I don't want to not do it and then he chooses to do it at an older age as doing the procedure later on is much more painful and difficult for them so I've heard

My husband wants to. He was circumsized and says his son will be too. We don't know what we're having yet, but we've already discussed it.

My husband said no to circumsize.  He says that he always wanted to make that choice for himself.  And he says it's not hard to clean at all.  Most ppl don't know how to clean the area properly so of course it's gonna get infected.  But u shouldn't have to worry about it bcu that's when dads comes along to help with that part. There's pro and cons to both.  Getting it done and not getting it done. You can get infection both ways.  By cutting off the extra skin as well can get infected.  I believe God put the extra akin there for a reason.  So I'm going with my honey idea.

Hi I had a baby boy who is now one , and at first I was on the side of not circumsizing my son. But at the end yes I did it , I did do it because in the future if u don't clean it the way you're suppose to it gets infected . And you will have to do it anyways. Now if they're bigger it's even worse cusx they will have to go through that pain rather then when they are new borns they don't feel a thing. And it's a 1 2 3 process.
