1st ultrasound (venting)

This is my 2nd pregnancy. The first I miscarried and didn't get to see it on the ultrasound monitor. So I'm excited about this one I'm 8wks 5days had my first appointment yesterday but the baby looked weird on the screen. She said next time it would look better but I've seen other 8weeks sonograms that look better. Idk just saying it didn't look right.

12 week ultrasound looks awesome! At 8 weeks mine just looked like a blob. Just had another one today at 18 weeks and it's so adorable!

My first ultrasound looked weird as well. This is my first pregnancy and I'd never seen an ultrasound look like mine.

My 8 week ultrasound looked super weird too and I was concerned as well because of a previous miscarriage. I am now 21 weeks and everything is fine. Don't worry so much it'll be ok.

Keep in mind it's not an actual camera. More like an xray. There's a lot of liquid in there to get through to see baby. Things can become distorted in an image. I've seen some weird looking ultra sound and some that look pretty good. I wouldn't be worried. You can always talk with your Dr about it if you are that concerned.
