Cramps

So for the last two nights I've woken up and stretched my legs. I get these terrible cramps in them out of nowhere. Any reason why ??

My doctor told me the cramps could be just the muscles and uterus getting stretched out. As long as there is no blood you shouldn't worry. And Charlie horses are very common during pregnancy.
