I lied to my OB doctor and tOld him I'm not a smoker anymore, But I feel like I should tell him the truth. What will  happen to me will he give me some medication to make me stop smoking. Should I or should I not tell my ob doctor the truth?? I  just want my baby to be healthy just don't know what to do or what will happen.

I smoked to i am 15 weeks and quit 6 days ago im so proud of myself and its the best feeling knowing my baby will thank me for it later by being healthy. What i did is weined myself down to lights with tar bars then after a month of tht i just stopped. U need to tell your dr they should kno its not so they can judge u its so they can kno what ur risks are going to be. But keep trying to quit u can do it!

Definitely let dr know. They can help figure out best way to work with you to quit. Keeping quiet and smoking secretly will definitely not help your baby and most likely it will harm your baby. Dr is there to help...not judge.

No matter what you need to tell your doctor the truth so he can be prepared when the baby is born. I'm sure you've heard this a thousand times but you really really need to stop. The percentage of babys born with health problems are just to high to ignore.  Coming from an ex smoker, you can do this! You can quit if you really try hard.
