Delivering while having yeast infection

I am almost on my last week of pregnancy and I may have a yeast infection, would taking monistat 7 now be unsafe since I'm so close to delivery? Or can my doctor prescribe me with some kind of medication? I really don't want to deliver my son while having a Yeast infection and don't really want to use monistat since it's so uncomfortable to use and now that I'm dilated I don't think it's safe

My doctor said no diflucan, nursing moms can take but not safe during pregnancy. Not sure why? But he/she could definitely prescribe something. I would go ahead and call so you can go ahead and start the medication as soon as possible tho, that way chances are less likely of still having it when you deliver.

Antibiotics will not get rid of a yeast infection. They can cause a yeast infection actually.  Your doctor can prescribe Diflucan (not sure if I spelled that right) but it's a pill you take one time and your your yeast infection will be gone in 2 days.
