Most babies are born with wider nose, they grow into it later, just like their eyes might change color later on too, my 3D images look like he has huge lips and funny looking nose, but that's only because the baby kept moving when he was trying to capture that image, he explained it to me... my nephew was born very cute, even tho he looked very scary in 3D images. ..
My baby you have been able to see that they have thier father nose since 9 weeks they arent all the same
There is such thing as 4D ultrasound! Lol
I had my first ultrasound at 9 weeks and saw arms and legs moving at got pictures and everything!!! Nothing has to be wrong to have it before 12 weeks. It was amazing to see my lil one!
Usually early ultrasounds are done around 12 weeks, but usually only if necessary. They are more accurate for dating, but don't show everything you can see from a 20 week ultrasound.
All or most babies noses are flat and wide when they are born. They point up as they get older :-)
I'm 4 weeks pregnant when I can get early ultrasound I'm a first time mom
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 3D ULTRASOUND AND 4D ULTRASOUND?
3D is a still image, while 4D adds the dimension of motion so it looks like a video.

I've been wondering about these ultrasounds bc my cousins girlfriend had her 34 week ultrasound in 3D & her son had wide nostrils & huge plump lips but he was born a few weeks ago & his features are wayyyy different then the 3d pictures they took! He has a small nose with teeny tiny nostrils & his lips are soooo freakin small! He is adorable but his ultrasound picture had us all thinking he looked wayyyyyy different than he actually does! My baby's due in 9 weeks & I'm wondering if she'll look anything like her pics. I wonder if Anybody else has had this happen??
Dear excitedaprilmommy, there ACTUALLY is 4d now. Maybe your doctor just hasn't advanced to that yet.
I actually had a 3D/4D ultrasound and my baby girls nose looked really wide as well. She is almost 3 now and her nose is still a little wide (like her father) but she has definitely grown into it.
I just had a 3D the other day, no such thing as 4D hun :), anyways my baby girl has a wide nose too, they said that's normal, every baby has a wide nose, its for feeding when they come out, it takes a couple months after they are born to really go to the shape they will take.
I think grow in I'm a ftm but I have somewhat raised my nices and they all grew into there noises
