Early Labour

Hi Ladies, I am posting this as a mum to mum thing and trust all your judgements.. I am just wondering if anyonw could tell me if stress can cause an early labour and birth problems. . The reason being I am due in April, and I have a court case not long before im due.. I have to testify to being raped with the man in the room... Its not going to be easy... this is my first child, and im worried that ill go into an earlly labour due to the stress of court... will my baby be ok :( ?

Would advise you to stay as stress free as possible.  I hope everything goes well for you x

Im so sorry to hear this! Id say it depends on how you are feeling, are you feeling well and strong enough to get through it? If not, can the case be delayed or testify through tape? My daughter was born at 24 weeks through stress and I

Aw poor you, how awful :(
How far gone will you be when you testify? Do you get any special treatment because of your condition?
Stress can increase the hormone cortisol in your body which can cause problems, however this increases in second trimester anyway.
I know it's hard but try and stay calm. I imagine you've been under alot of stress anyway with all this going on and little one is fine xx
