Epidural?

I am due on the 28th..so close!! I am a ftm and I'm having trouble deciding whether or not to get the epidural. My mom never had one and so I don't really know the process of if it hurts being done. Any of you previous mommies have any info??

I've had the epi and went natural. I'll never take the meds again. I don't regret it with my first, I was scared and it hurt. But with 2 and 3 I opted for med cause they gave me the now or never line. But honestly I was sleeping through contractions. So by#4 I knew I could do it without med. It wad quicker, easier on baby, and I could walk around and be in control of the whole experience

I was induced and did not get a epidural and it went great. I was more uncomfortable then anything. But everyone is different

I had an epidural and I didn't even feel it go in. I had a really good doctor. I'm getting one this time as well.

If your going to be induced I'd definitely get one if, not just see what your body can handle, you'll know after the 3rd hard contraction if your going to be able to do it. I was in labor for 2 days so they endured me and I thought I was going to die from the pain! Then I got an epidural  took an hour nap and then woke up cause I felt the baby's head come down my birth canal and had to start pushing it was crazy
