I've been eating lots of cold things because I can't stand the smell of cooked stuff... Rich tea biscuits, apple cut into little chunks and plain toast. Butter melting has been making me heave. Can't wait for this phase to be over. I miss food!
I'm 10 weeks and I've been exactly the same. Morning sickness has turned me right off of what I'd usually eat. My Dr recommended ice lollies and lemonade with lots of ice to try and get some calories without being poorly and its worked so far.
last night I got up to use the restroom and I was feeling sharp pains in my stomach my only guess is that is what contractions feel like I have not a clue what it was and have not been to the doctor yet has anyone else been through this
Also, keep on top of your vitamins, and let your doctor know you're having trouble with meat and she may recommend extra vitamins for you !
A lot of women go through this in pregnancy. I had it especially bad at the beginning of one. And I lost weight in the first trimester. just remember, we aren't meant to eat a meat heavy diet anyway. you can get protein from other sources such as nuts and beans. Peanut butter sandwiches and things like that work great. I'm a server and I carry a baggie full of almonds and peanuts in m apron to snack on (: And then stock up on other healthy foods like veggies and fruits, and eat small amounts of meat and fish when you can. Just do the best you can, and hopefully your appetite will return as you get further along in your pregnancy
yea that pretty much what I'm going thru like now I have a hot link nd its just sitting here the smell is truemy makin me sick but I'm starving :(
I have had the same issues since the beginning of the pregnancy. I am 16 wks at the moment. Ive done nothing but lose weight this pregnancy. I'm so hungry but nothing sounds or tastes good to me. I hate cooking dinner because it just makes me not want to eat. I cant stand the smell of beef or chicken or pork... its a horrible thing to go through. I hope that someone has some good advice... becauseI need some too.
