Without a doubt, ask your doctor what's safe for you. Personally, I do yoga. I do squats, lunges, leg lifts, toe lifts, I work arms with resistance bands, pushups, planks, reach and curls and I walk and lightly jog.
Rather ask ur doctor. I use d to walk for 3km and it got less as i progressed with my pregnancy. Im today 32weeks and i cant walk anymore due to swollen feet. Walking is better and keeps ones boby light to carry.
I have only stopped going to the gym yhe last few weeks, I'm almost 36 weeks. Still go for a 30-45min brisk walk each day as well as working on my feet. Just be careful about what you are doing. Nothing too strenuous. Talk to your class instructor or a personal trainer maybe to get an odea of what your body is capable of at the moment. Everyone is different.
I walk a lot at work close to 4-5 miles but i worked before I got pregnant. I have heard that if you worked out and exercised before its okay to continue because your body is use to it. If you didn't I would take it easy and start out slow
Im just getting back in the gym. Im jogging 2miles a day and lifting twice a week. Im 17 weeks and my lower tummy is poking out. Some exercises are getting uncomfortable.
I gained 20 pounds already, so im trying to offset the quick gain with working out.
I've been doing squats everyday, they work the leg muscles that are needed to push the baby out.
