Eye color

I have grey colored eyes and my husband has green eyes so what color will our baby have? I've tried to look it up but can't find anything about it. What is your thoughts?

It depends on your family ancestry or it can come out with either one of your eyes. When my daughter was born she had grey eyes and when she was about 3 4 months they turn dark brown me and my bf have brown eyes but mines are darker. My niece she had hazel with mixture of gray and none of her parents got eyes like that now they turned into a caramel brownish color, my thoughts are that babies eye color change before they hit 1 yr

It's all based off of genetics, but it can still vary. My parents' eyes are both blue and so are mine. My husband's parents both have green eyes, but my husband and one of his brothers have light blue eyes, and his other brother has brown eyes. I'm hoping our baby gets our blue eyes! My stepson and niece both got the baby blues.

U never know bcuz me and my bf have brown eyes not too brown but NY first kid came out greenish  grey eyes and baby#2 came with brown eyes as well not really light brownish as well so we thought she was going to be the same as her brother ...probably our family members there is where my son got them.

My husband has brown eyes as do all of his siblings but his Dad has blue and mom green. I have green and my siblings and parents have green or hazel. our son has blue eyes. The last person on my side to have blue was my great grandpa. So recessive can show up when least expected.

It depends what colors run in your family (grandarents included). My mom has green eyes and my dad blue, yet mine are hazel and my brothers brown (my grandparents had brown eyes). I have a friend who just had her baby boy, her and her husband both have brown eyes, but the baby is a split image of his grandfather with blue eyes and light hair.  It's amazing how genes get inherited :)

It is based on resessive genes and dominate genes. Most of the time the more dominate gene will be present so darker the eye color the more chance it will come through but occasionally a resessive gene will show through.
My dad has green eye and mom I'd more dark but I have have baby blue eyes and brother has brown eyes. The other weird thing is that no one in our family that we can trace back has blue eyes go figure.
My husband has brown eyes and most of his race has predominately brown eyes but his grandfather has blue.
You just never know
I would guess possibly lighter eye colour bc I don't think that grey eye are completely dominate but I guess u will have to wait and see

I have brown eyes. My mother has green eyes..my sister has blueish grey eyes..and hubby and his family all got brown eyes..my baby girl came out with grey eyes..more than likely the chances of your baby having green blue eyes is really high..good luck.
