Super nervous and excited for baby #2

Hi wanted To ask a question.I had my first child at 27 weeks. He was a preemie and 1lb 15 oz this was 3 years ago. Just wanted to know if any of you had a preemie the first time around and then carried full term the second time?

Hi I just found out I'm 5 weeks and 3 days with my second child. Today when I went to the bathroom I found brownish discharge in my undies. When I wipe myself there's really nothing there though. I'm not experiencing any cramps or anything and it's very little. Has anyone else experienced this in week 5? Really nervous.

I guess it all depends what caused your early delivery. My first born was a preemie born at 31 wks., Dr found out I have an incompetent cervix. I loss my second pregnancy of twins at 23wks, but I was able to carry my 3rd pregnancy to full term. I have to have a cerclage put in and get lots of bed rest for every pregnancy.  Im currently 23+4 weeks pregnant, and so far everything is well. Praying to God I'll make it full term again. Make sure you are seen at a high risk clinic or hospital. I get an ultrasound every 2 weeks to monitor my cervix. Every pregnancy is different, just take goid care and best of luck.

I too would love to know people's pregnancy experiences after a preemie. My first was born spontaneously at 34+5 two years ago, Dr says it was a fluke. I'm currently 17wks with baby #2 and extremely anxious. They're keeping a close eye on me but I pray everyday to make it full term :)
