To Jessa - with your history, you would be well within your rights to ask for an elective c section. A positive experience from vaginal birth is the best way to have a baby, but feeling terror regarding the coming baby is something that you can avoid. I have a friend whose first labor was like yours. She had a section next time around, and the healing was way faster. Not to mention the mental ease she had from knowing she didn't have to go through that again.

That being said, just because you had a bad experience once does not mean you will have another bad one. You could have a simple and quick vaginal birth this time. Explore your options, and whatever you do, surround yourself with positive people.

Congrats lilrabbit!

It wasnt what i planned at all ladies. Be open minded about your birth plans. It was quite a traumatic labour and birth. However my gorgeous boy is here now 7'10 vaginal birth could have been a cesarean so thankful for that. Wanted a natural birth ended up having a epidural. Good Luck for your births ladies x

I'm 3 months pregnant and I have a 2 year old. I'm scared out of my mind to give birth because both my son and I and most died while I was giving birth to him. I was supposed to have and most c-section but the doctor made me have him naturally and I ended up with 56 stitches plus the epidural didn't work so I felt everything. Any advice?
