How long after you had your baby (and you finished that obvious bleeding) did you get your period again?

I nursed my daughter until she was 15 months. got my period back after 10 months, but irregular. pregnant when she was 12 months.

Wow that's awesome! Lol. He'll be 2 months in 3days and I stopped bleeding when he was 3 weeks old and haven't gotten my period. I'm not breastfeeding and I did just start birth control. So I was wondering. Thanks Ladies (:

I breastfed and never got my period, but got pregnant again when my baby was 8 months old. Going on almost 2 years no cycles... Kinda nice....

I want to say it took me almost 3 months. But that was 3 years ago so I can't be too sure. I know a girl that breastfed and she didn't get hers back for a year or longer. That's another reason I'm hoping breastfeeding works out for me this time around.
