Freaking out !

I just had my 28 weeks blood work done and I came back positive for Gestational diabetes.  I'm kind in freaking out , it's my first pregnancy.  So has anyone else had this & everything else with the pregnancy go find .

I currently am going thru gestational diabetes with this pregnancy... I have to check my blood sugar 4 times daily and monitor what I eat...  I also go to a fetal specialist that keeps an eye on how the baby is developing

I am having my third child and with all three my first test came out positive. But the three hour test came out negative.

Same thing happened to me and I just found out what triggers my blood sugar spikes (which was milk products) and stopped eating or drinking it. Quick fix. I think that test needs revision.  There are too many pregnancies that come back positive when it truly isn't the case.

Hi, my first test came back positive but on the second test which is a long three hours it came back negative which happens frequently I was told.  Don't freak out ... worst case scenario you just have to monitor what you eat.  Best of luck.
