Feeling excited.  Even though am not know where near ready yet. I made 30 weeks today and still dont have nothing for the baby. Smh. Baby shopping is suppose to be fun but it hurts my soul. I really can't afford much right now. Ugh. Am just hoping my baby shower will be a success (which is in 4 weeks). I think amma go buy a box of newborn diapers to get me start.

@funmiQ was there anything that happened that made ur water break? What were you doing that day? I would like to know so If there's anything I can do to prevent i will try. And I'm sorry that happened to u, I really hope everything works out for u, and everyone else on here. Just so u guys know hand me downs and thrift stores are ok too, I know it ***** having to feel like u can't afford anything but when I was 17 and prego I didn't have a choice either. Things will work out for u guys ♡

Thank you. I'm sure it will be okay. I just can't sleep thinking about everything that needs to be done when I get discharged. I just wanna get up and walk to the cafeteria or the vending machine or go outside. I've been counting down the days though. A little over a week and I'll be out of here.

I'm buying a box of pampers tonight for starters, but I'm kind of n the same boat it's really hard especially when your doing it by yourself.

Me tooo. In the process of trying to move, my water broke at 23 weeks. So I've been in the hospital since July 22nd. I'm 32 weeks now and scheduled to be induced on the 5th of Oct. It all happened so fast and my boyfriend has been working so much to get the new place all paid for and set up while my mom watches our other 2 we don't have a single thing for the baby. He'll have to go to the nicu for at least a week or two so I'll have a little time but its been so crazy and I can't help with anything until I have him.

Do a pamper raffle. Im doing one for mine. Everyone who brings a box of pampers gets a ticket with a number and in the end whosever number you pull out gets a prize. You can google or pintrest pamper raffles for more info on how to do it. Just ask for sizes newborn - 2 months.

I'm in the same boat. I don't have a lot of money so it's hard to buy right now. I wanted to be more prepared by now than what I am. I'm 27 weeks. My church is doing me a baby shower in October and a friend said she was also going to do me one. I hope to get whay I can there and finish up the little things.
