I'm having a very rough pregnancy. I have the worst cramps from having gas I've every had in my life. One night I thought I could have been having a heart attack. Is this an issue for anyone else?

I tried baking soda water... 1 tsp of baking soda in an 8 oz glass of warm water... My gram said to drink the whole cup but I could barely get a gulp down lol it doesn't taste very good buuuut take a couple gulps and it should bring up your gas... It worked for me

I'm 30 1st baby. no longer with the father of my child. probably the best thing but I love him so much for giving me my baby. I was always told by different doctors that I couldn't have a baby or be very difficult for me to conceive. I proved them wrong.

Yea, me too  my gas is very painful. I drink lots of water but I still find myself constipated and almost straining to use the bathroom.. But walking helps with the gas sometimes lol!

I drink peppermint tea. The combination of warm water and peppermint eases gas effectively for me. I hope you feel better soon :-)

My "safe" list doesn't have anything for gas, you should talk to your OB to see what is safe. You could also try peppermint candies, either suck on them or put them in water. Peppermint helps to relieve gas, even for infants (in small amounts).

I had this problem in my first trimester, I had really bad trapped gas it was so painful I would lay on my side just waiting for relief and it would take forever. I would try different positions to try and get some release but it only lasted my first trimester, by my second it went away thank god. Maybe talk to your doctor for any help, or look online for suggestions. I'm pretty sure there is stuff you can take to help relieve the gas. I also had bad constipation as well as the trapped gas and prune juice seemed to help. Good luck I hope it passes soon!
