Gender Reveal Party

This is my second baby and I was thinking about having a gender reveal party for this one. Has anyone done it? I plan on going in the day we're supposed to find out and not looking and just having the tech write it down and put it in an envelope. And then we'll take it to a bakery and tell them to make a blue or pink cake with white frosting. And then we'll cut it together and everyone finds out at the same time!  It sounds so exciting!! Anyone done it? Does anyone have any other cute ideas?? T.I.A. :D

I'm 5mths in my sister just found out she was pregnant so I came up with we can do our baby shower together she wear pink I wear blue n all our friends bring gifts in at the end we switch gifts so my friends that bought me blue stuff I give to my sis n her friends that bought her pink she give to me lol how cute is that they all will be suprize

I'm doing a gender revel party. I wanted to think of something that my kids could be involved in. So we r doing a  cake but we're also going to have games were people try an guess what I'm having. Lol an were going to tally up an the winners will get a prize. An were doing a piñata so wen the kids break it open we will know what we're having. I think it will be exciting. My oldest is 10 my middle is 5 an my youngest is 15 months. An I'm due oct 15th

We got a baby carriage panaita from party city and got them to fill it with the baby gender it was a boy so they filled it with it's a boy chocolates .

Ooh and also I did a diaper raffle that said something about whether he or she, baby sure will pee, so bring a pack of diapers, any size to be entered into win a special prize. Look it up on pinterest !we got lots of diapers and I'm doing it again for my baby shower

We did a gender reveal before Christmas with our close family. We knew what gender the baby was, but we had food and Christmas cookies then bought sparkly pink ornaments for each family we invited, wrapped them in wrapping paper. We had everyone tally what they thought the baby was and then after that we let them open the little presents! My grandma's face was the best, she was so disappointed.. lol

What About Pictures Get Blue & Pink Paint Take Them To The Photographer & Give Them The Envelope Take A Couple Shots Then Let Your First Child Paint His Or Her Hands & Place Them On Your Stomach Take Another Shot w| The Child Holding Up His Or Her Hands As You & Your Mate Uncover Your Eyes .. Or Fill A Box W| Blue Balloons One W| Pink Label Them Have A Family Gathering & Release The Ones That Reveal The Gender

i love that idea im a first mommy but not the only sibling having a kid this year i know my sis in law having a girl but me not sure so i might do something like that to surprise everyone. but even though i never had one i am in school for ideas and decorating and i would stick with the cake idea it would be like a shock for everyone to find out at same time!!! cute idea go for it
