Gender determination hopefully?!?!

On Saturday 11th I go in for gender determination. Im 17 weeks on that day. Whats the best things to do prior to confirm a good read and be able to get results. Im paying 80$ to find out. Cannot afford another appointment. My  family is driving out to be there So hoping everything goes well and have s clear reading. Any advice??

If you get an ultrasound that early it's fine, to get a better picture you can get a 3d/4d that will definitely make it clear

Drink something cold and sugary about 20-30 minutes before the scan. I paid at 15w exactly and it was super clear.

Docs can NEVER definately see no matter how many weeks you are. All depends on how developed baby is and jow he/she is lay. Bare in mind this lady has one chance at getting a DEFINATE so please dont give inaccurate information its unfair. Yes you can sometimes find the sex before 20 weeks however at 20 week its considered more of a certain deal. Best of luck

I wouldn't say it's too early at 17 weeks, that's when my doc said I should come in but of course if u wait a few more weeks the baby will be bigger and it'll be easier to see and be more accurate. I'm sorry Idk of anything you can do to get the clearest possible pic now. It also depends on if the little one is in a good position to see between the legs

Its to early at 17weeks...this is why u are given a scan at around 20 weeks as babys more developed. ...i found out at my 20 scan im having a baby boy...and at that scan i also found out that my baby has a serious medical condition. .so i would leave it till 20 weeks...but its entirely ur choice ...best of luck xxx

Yes. I would wait a few more weeks. 17 weeks is a bit early and you would get a better result around 20 week x
