Nurse Gifts

Did anyone give the nurses gifts?   If so, what was it.  I wasn't planning on it because a lot of my friends said they didn't, but I got thinking maybe just some simple candy at the nurse's station would be nice.

I have a friend who did the coffee as well, she went to pintrest... And did two boxes, one large gift box of coffee with all the trimmings for each station... One for the nurses station and one for baby nursery... It covered all the nurses... Just an idea! I give my cups to specific nurses... The labor and delivery nurse that helps me deliver... The baby nurse that bathes my baby... For each shift day and night... And one for whoever stands out if not I give it to my doctor...

Hm, I never did nurses gifts.  There are different ones.  Labor and delivery nurses are different than the maternity nurses who you see after baby and they change every 12 hours (or sooner).  I had a lot of nurses.  :>) and each for only a portion of my time there.   I didn't bond with any of them but said a sincere thank you especially to the labor nurses who got me through.  But it is a nice gesture for sure!

I bought a box of chocolates for the nurses when I had my son. I imagine I'll do the same this time round too.

I'm doing coffee in coffee cups with a A few creamers sticks and a couple of mints for decoration in a clear bag with pretty ribbon at the top... Mints cost $1 only 1 bag at dollar store... Cups $1 at dollar store... Coffee I purchase folders in individual packs it comes in one big box 10 in a box... Creamer sticks came 24 in a box... I'm making 5 cups and I spent less than $20... I'm a nurse as well and I know the long hours they work and how coffee plays a big key some days during those long hours... If you Google coffee cup gifts you can get a lot of inexpensive ideas that may help... I'm currently pregnant with #2 26wks... Congrats and I pray you have a quick, safe , healthy delivery!!
