Gestational Diabetes Testing??

I had my test today and after drinking the juice thing, I started getting dizzy and nauseous and cramping. Was trying to hold it but had to run to the bathroom .. threw up all over the bathroom floor. :(
I feel like crying, I was so embarrassed.
I have to go back some other time, but do any of you know if I have to drink the same thing again? I don't think I can take it. :(

When I took mine I was told not to eat or drink past 12 the night before my appointment. I done mine last week. The drink did make me nauseated and give me heartburn unbelieveably but throwing up doesn't mean that your going to have it. I fought to keep mine down and the test come back normal so throwing up doesn't mean you have gestational diabetes. It does help if you can schedule it first thing in the morning amd fast the night before after midnight. But I did end up having a headache later that day from all the sugar. They should have different flavors. My dr office offered orange or fruit punch. Hope all goes well the next time around!

Usually if you can't keep it down you end up having gestational diabetes. You throw up because its to much sugar for your body to handle. Did you drink it on an empty stomach or anything?
