Gestational diabetes...

Has anyone had gestational diabetes and got prescribed a pill called glyburide and baby come out normal size?

Am being diagnose with gd but so far i have not taken any meds and everything is fine. I guess its because am an active person. Am almost 37weeks.

im diet and exercise alone, haven't had to take any meds but baby is a normal size so far about 7 lbs at 37 wks.  if the pill will help stabilize blood sugars it will help prevent a bigger  baby.  its when your blood sugars are running  high for too long that the baby is then forced to deal with the extra suagr in the blood they receive and can make them get chubby. so i would think the pill  would help if your numbers are still running high after diet changes.
