Getting induced January 12th

I went to my doctor Tuesday January 6th and she said the baby has gotten even bigger. She seemed a bit worried. She noticed I haven't been gaining much weight but the baby is still measuring big. She checked to see if I started thinning/dilating and I haven't. My due date is January 19th but she scheduled me to be induced on the 12th because of all this. I'm extremely nervous and keep thinking things will go wrong (all I hear is horror stories of induction). I'm a first time mom also. Been in lots of pain lately due to contractions and I'm assuming round ligament pain so I'm really ready for it to be over. Can anyone share positive induction stories? Maybe it will help ease my mind. Did anyone else go through this?  Or is anyone else going to be induced soon?

Thank you so much for your comment! It really puts my mind at ease knowning moms have had good experiences being induced. I will do my best to stay positive! I think the thing I'm most excited for is knowning for sure when my baby boy will be here, lol!

I was induced with my youngest & honestly to me it was not much different than going into labor naturally! I actually probably liked it better because that pitocin moved things along very quickly rather than when I went into labor naturally with my other 2 it just dragged! Everything will be just fine, stay thinking positive! :) good luck
