Giving birth without a birth partner?
Hi y'all, just looking for some opinions / advice from anyone who has been through this or any kind of input at all really?!
I am 32 weeks pregnant with second baby and as it stands OH will be staying with our first when I go into labour and I'll be making the magic happen solo... Lol
We are not close with any family and OH is the only one I feel confident leaving our daughter with. I feel that this whole new baby situation is going to be tough on her as it is so it will be good for her to have someone she knows and trusts looking after her.
As I said I'm not close with any family and don't have friends I'd consider suitable for being at a birth. I've considered a doula, any one else tried this? But tbh, I think I'd feel weird having a birthing partner who was a stranger, regardless of how many births they'd been to!
Anyone else done it alone? Is it possible or downright crazy? I'll be giving birth at a hospital so there will be midwives and doctors etc. Any input?? Thanks x

Other half. And the care you will receive from midwives and doctors is plenty my partner was asleep the whole labour only woke up when midwives told him our son was going to be born any second. I didn't feel lonely as I was to busy focusing on myself for once :) if you reall don't want to be Ali e you could always ask a friend. Good luck to you x
