Please Help

Got a question for a girlfriend of mine.. She is 39 weeks and 2 days pregnant. When she got her first ultrasound they said she conceived June 11th. She had an affair June 27th but dude didn't come inside her. Her and her hubby were having a lot of sex after there miscarriage in May.. Wouldn't you say the baby is her husband. I keep telling her not to worry about it BC its his.

Sounds to me like jsalt is actually asking for herself. She's getting so offensive. You asked cause you wanted to know others opinion. But when  they give you their opinion you're mad cause you want them to agree with your opinion, if you're so convinced then don't ask

Wow you are being really hostile. You asked a question.  I told you I know when I conceived it matches when my doctor told me I concieved. I am measuring 2 weeks ahead. Due dates are eatimates. Your friend lied and cheated on her husband. If she is feeling anxiety and worry she brought it on heraelf. And BTW a doctor can tell the sex of a baby as early as 16 weeks so that's a moot point you brought up also.
Seems to me you posted this question just to get people to agree with you.

Be a supportive friend and teach her honesty.  I couldnt look my husband in the eye knowing I fooled around on him. And if your so convinced it's her husbands than why did you ask? Clearly people do not agree with your logic. You say she conceived on june 9th. Does she know that for fact (didnt have lots of sex and only had sex that day) or are you choosing the 9th based on the doctors measuring.  Yes, doctors know their sh!t and theyll tell you its an estimate give or take 1-2 weeks. Thats why some women tend to deliver early and others late. Because its an estimate. Doctor will also tell you how much your baby weighs. That is also an estimate. Facts are facts. It could be either man's baby. And she owes everyone the truth. Could be a tough lesson unfortunately. Also, you said she conceived the 9th and the 11th. And she didnt have a period the month prior due to the miscarriage. .would make it even more difficult to estimate the ovulation date and day she conceived. Aaand people can conceive the day before or after their ovulation date... because once again its an estimate. Bottom line shes pregnant and slept with another man around the time she is to believed to have gotten pregnant.  Get a test.

she's not measuring ahead or anything. She is measuring where she should be for when the doctor said they convicted there baby. Doctors know there **** and its pretty unlikely they get the dates that off.. Condering they can't tell what your having till your 20 weeks so if she wasn't 20 weeks when they said she was having a baby girl then she would have waited another 2 weeks

I know when I got pregnant. But I am measuring 2 weeks ahead. Anything is possible since you don't know when she ovulated.

Thanks Bree, we know its her husband baby. Its harder to get pregnant without the dude actually cuming inside you. And with her and her husband being so active around the time she conceived I'm pretty sure its her husbands over this other dude. Thanks anyways and no dude isn't just as equally as the father.Just don't add up to me. Her due date would be the first week in April. Not March 18th, so do the math. If it was closer together like days and she actually cummed inside her then I would be worried.

You guys she said her friend found out she was pregnant on June 9th and didnt sleep with the other guy until June 27th. So more then likely it is her husbands baby.

Just because you believe and your obviously convinced its her husbands baby doesnt make it so...the fact shes measuring at 39 weeks does not mean she is 39 weeks, its all estimated and NOT 100% accurate, some babies are bigger than others so fact is the other guy could the father just as equally as her husband could be....paternity test is the ONLY solution

She didn't have a period sence march BC she was pregnant then had a miscarriage at the end of May. And its her life, she is gonna do what she is gonna do.. Don't need to judge her or anything. Its her life.. I'm just being the supported friend to her. I believe its her husband 100%.. She would only be 37 weeks, not Even if it was the other dudes but she is 39 weeks and 3 days..

My ultrasound tech says I'm 19 weeks almost 20 but I'm 20 almost 21 weeks and it's because of how my bAby and I are measured. ... its possible she could be measuring more then she actually is paternity test is the only way to find her answer.  Last known period isn't always accurate as she could have ovulated early or late!

Regardless, your "friend" should do the right thing and come clean IMO.  Then a paternity test can be done and the real father will know. Not something you just assume and keep a secret about

Yeah I know there is always that chance but I think its very unlikely in her shoes just BC of the dates, all the ultrasounds have been right on. Even the doctor said its very unlikely that it is the other dude. She has been messuring where she should be at 39 weeks. If she wasn't 39 weeks then she wouldn't be measuring that much..

Just because the other guy didnt *** inside her doesnt mean its not possible he could be the father even if she did have a lot of sex with her partner after, the pull out method does not work, thats how im pregnant for a second time because of that...due dates are estimated so no matter how much math you do the only solid thing to rule him out is a paternity test

She didn't have a period after her miscarriage. She had it may 22 and got pregnant June 9th. She had sex with this other dude June 27th. And time she got pregnant her and her husband were having a lot of sex. She didn't even start talking to this other dude till June 13th. So all the math adds up that its her Husband child and not this fling she had for one time.

They normally calculate ftom the sate of your last period which means there's 2 weeks of conception following that during ovulation. They don't normally count the 2 weeks. I would be getting a paternity test

Due dates are never exactly right it's just a give or take estimate by two-weeks. Meaning she could be 37 or 39. May want to do a paternity test with the other guy. Because it may come back to bite her in the butt.for example  If something is medically wrong. And they need blood from her or her husband. That would be a very hard way to tell him she cheated and the kid isn't his.

Well you never know and remember the due date is always just an estimate but she would have to wait till she gives birth but it seemd to me the husband seems to be the father due to some of the info.

No they didn't use a comdom. All her appts have been right on and she has been measuring 39 weeks. If this other guy was the father she would be measuring less than 37 weeks. And the time she got pregnant they were not Even talking yet and that's when her and her husband were having a lot of sex.
