Had my baby shower today!

The day started off bad in terms of getting everything together. I was 10 mins late to my own shower. I thought no one would come to the shower because a lot of people did no rsvp, but 2 hours into the shower the place was packed. We had at least 70 people minus the host and kids. We got so much stuff and about 900 in gift cards so we are blessed. Now it is time to start shopping.

People do not have etiquette anymore. Only 25 people rsvp'd. It really makes things frustrating.i even had someone come who was not invited. We did not want to create a scene and mess up our day so we let the freeloader stay and eat up our food and cake.

Thank you ladies. I am so happy about the turnout. I already purchased his stroller and bassinet, now about to order his crib and mattress. 6 weeks or less left so we need to really get his room together.

Congrats and I am glad it was a success! Don't worry about being late, I was like an HR or so late to my shower because an hr  before I was helping decorating and I was all sweaty so I had To run home and shower and get pretty.

I did have a great time and we got lots of picks. I am happy what we put in we got and more. I would have to say we are lucky to have friends and family that can come together and celebrate with us.
