Is It Okay To Bleach Your Hair While Pregnant? Will Affect It The Baby?

My mom flipped out on me about dying my hair so I called my doctor And she said it's perfectly fine. It can't harm the baby. I've had three kids an have died my hair during every pregnancy and all my.kids are perfectly normal nd healthy.
Everybody will give you a different answer for this. My Dr said to wait I til I am 24 weeks to put any direct color on my head, but can do highlights after 12 wks. As a hairdresser, I have been coloring my hair on scalp since 12 wks. I honestly do not see any harm in it as my professional opinion.
