Hair!!!

Hey ladies any tips for dry hair?

I usually have beautiful medium long wavy hair and no matter the shampoo or conditioner lately my hair just feels dry :/ and I don't even straighten it or nothing! I haven't straightened it in months and I kinda want to but I'm afraid my hair will break because it feels so dry!

Take a fish oil supplement, or make sure your prenatals contain DHA. It will help a lot.

@lukasproudmama idk what I'm having yet :/ I hope to find out at the end of the month or right at the beginning of October!
Some of my symptoms are little appetite, I want cold stuff/food, I want spicy and salty stuff. I've gained 5lbs at 15wks+6 days. Also very little nauseousness.

I'm so glad to get all this advice from you ladies, Thank yall we have to take care of ourselves even if we don't always feel great lol!

I don't even use conditioner lol conditioner doesn't clean your hair, shampoo does. I've never really used conditioner, its always made my hair healthier and better looking. Just being pregnant has made it damaged because of all the hormones. I'm definitely gonna look into the oils too though and hopefully I can have my head of hair back when my little boy gets here

I only wash it 2 times a week. I have used a leave in conditioner, then sealed the moisture with oil (any oil will do!)
That has worked wonders for me!

I'm going to try the coconut oil for sure I definetly feel like I need to hydrate my hair! I am definetly not going to dye it, I read two other people who tried dying their hair and because of hormones changes the colors didn't come out the way they wanted. I just want my hair to be volumous & healthy again lol

My hair was the same .. But I've been using ion ..its a white bottle with red letter and I bought it from sally ..its alittle pricey but from the first use my hair feels amazing!! I've been using it for 2 weeks and now its so shiny and soft and non frizzy :) .. I use the shampoo and conditioner and recorrectaner (I think thats what's its called lol )  but its been leaving my hair fabulous!! :)

Don't shampoo your hair every day. It just strips away the natural oils.  Personally, my naturally dry hair only gets shampooed every 3-4 days. If you really really can't accept not washing your hair everyday, try just using a conditioner daily and then only shampooing every 3 days or so. Conditioner cleans your scalp just fine.

Maybe coconut oil, olive, or other hair oil. I apply once a week all day for a whole day. Its usually up so it just looks wet styled. Then wash hair like normal. Hair stays nice :)

My hair has been the same way, and it has breakage :/ I haven't touched it either. No straightening or dying or anything that could make it worse. I'm just hoping it goes back to normal after I have my baby
