At a loss"(

yesterday I noticed a tiny bit of blood before work it continued light and went off last night then came back this morning and I went to hospital and got a scan. The scan showed that I'm 5w5d where as I believed I was 7w5d and now I have to wait a week for another scan to see if the baby has grown. I'm hoping and praying that I got my dates wrong and I'm just a couple of weeks behind what I thought I was. Has this happened to anyone else where they got the dates wrong? They have told me to prepare my for bad news but to also still hold onto that bit of hope. Today has been a day from hell the only bright part to it will be if everything is okay and me and my partner got to see our very tiny peanut for the first time today. :'( x

Hey ma I'm so sorry for your loss. I was 14 weeks when I found out my baby was gone. This happen back in June '14.. it really hurt me alot because I was able to feel him move.. from one week to another I didn't feel him any more I really didn't think nothing of it only because he was small and it would feel him move once in a while. By the second week it was worried I went for an emergency check up with my obgyn, she could not find the heart beat.  I went in for a sonogram and I saw for my self he was not moving she did a scan to hear his little heart. It was just a straight line... Once I was done I was told.. my baby was gone.. I had a boy his name is zamuel Garcia - Antonio. . He was a fully formed human baby boy:'(.. I feel your pain and lost. I am now 9 week pg and still with the fear of losing my child again. The Lord knows what he is doing and if he let me conceive again he'll let you.. don't stress yourself.. think how happy you were and will be pregnant again.:). Happy time and better days will come.

It's okay.  You just miscalculated.  No harm, no foul.  You want to hear freaky, I was almost five months pregnant, the doctor said I was not pregnant.  It took, my Dad's orthopedist, to tell me, I was pregnant.  My Dad called him, Dr. Dumb as..  So the OBGYN, who delivered Nissa, is delivering this one too.  He was ready, Nissa was three weeks early.  Don't worry enjoy , your pregnancy.

Because your still in the early stage of your first trimester, its normal to see spotting which can mean so many different things. As far as delivery date, it really doesnt determine much because your due date will always have a 2wk frame prior to or after. So just keep an eye out and stay positive

I had the same thing thought I was around 7 ish weeks so went to get my first ultrasound and they could only see a sac and told me to prepare myself. I had had non stop spotting and cramps..... Anyway went back in 2 weeks and there was the tiny blob just turned out I had been like 4+5 wks instead of 7 and there was a heartbeat and all. Still had light bleeds up until 12 weeks but I'm now 21 wks and she's healthy moving and has a great heartbeat. So hopefully your story will have a happy ending and I'm sending you lots of positive thoughts :)

When I first found out I was pg I calculated it that I was 7 weeks my first ultrasound said 5. I am not 23 and my Dr has changed my due date back to what I had calculated it to be with my last period. Good luck to you dear
