Heartburn-- does it go away after birth? Experienced moms?

I have really bad heartburns, I can't sleep or do anything when it starts hurting. Cold milk helps me. I don't want to take any medicine for it. I'm ftm, so does it go after I deliver? Never had heartburns issues before. Ughhh!

I'm glad it goes away. I'm 38 weeks, can't wait to be done. Until then, I will drinking milk. It helps me cool it down.

Yes, it'll go away.  Doc explained to me that stomach is being pushed up & progesterone relaxes all the muscles. Tums & Zantac are on my safe list but check with your doc if you decide to take anything. Prop extra pillows under your head--it might help.
