I was told 5 mins on then relax for a couple hours and try again so i do that once a month to be on the safe side. But my friends used it for 15 mins through out there woke pregnancy and had healthy baby's
I was told the same thing as jessicups! However I did still use it, just for very short periods of time. Try a warm bath also!
Okay thank yall I've tried light stretching but nothing works, I'll keep in mind the body temp changing thing though because I am very warm bodied as it is and even with this horrible summer heat I don't want to get any hotter I just want the back relief lol
I was told by my OB that electric heating pads were a nono specifically, you can use the type you microwave or a hot water type. The danger with the electric is they don't ever cool down, which can raise your body temperature (ehich is dangerous for baby) and also just the tissue near the baby to high. With the microwave or water kind they lose heat over time so you are only exposed for a shorter period. If all you have is electric just make sure you only use it for a limited time and that you arnt using it to close to where baby is located.
15 min of hot and cold, and maybe a bath to relax you.
