Has anyone got diagnosed with a threatened abortion && ended up having a healthy pregnancy?

At 7 weeks they found a hemorrage covered 30% of baby sac, week later I went when my bleeding and clotting was gone and it got bigger to 40% and they said threatened miscarriage. I was told to take it easy. My 20 week scan showed it was practically gone. What they don't tell you with sch's is that it is more common then not and can re absorb itself by about 20 weeks. At 20 weeks my baby is healthy and things are going good.

That's because it's the same thing, ladies. Termination of pregnancy is the definition of abortion. Generally we use the term miscarriage when we are referring to a spontaneous abortion, and use the term abortion to specifically describe an elective abortion. But the medical terminology is the same for either occurrence.

Ya it depends on Dr how they pronounce it. I had a miscarriage at eight weeks in 2009 & Dr came in and said I see you had a spontaneous abortion in 2009 & my husband was all confused. I am not the abortion type of girl. So they need to be sensitive to his they say it but sometimes they don't think.

Threatened abortion and threatened miscarriage are the same thing. Used to be the first was the common term but then connotations and such....

I was diagnosed at 6 weeks with one, I'm at 9 and baby's all better. Annoying little parasite needs to quit giving momma heart attacks. -.-

I went  to the ER  with cramping and bleeding and they told me it was a threatened abortion and the next day I had a miscarriage.

I was diagnosed with a threatened miscarriage and I ended up miscarring how far along are you? Cause if you are getting the diagnosis threatened abortion I'm assuming your in your second trimester or later

I got diagnosed with threatened miscarriage yesterday rushed to ER n ordered me bedrest babys heart was at 166 n have an appointment with my obgyn

You get a threatened abortion and miscarriage. ... it depends on how far pregnant tou are, and yes I had one at 7weeks but today im 36weeks 4days and all is well with me and baby.... just listen to your dr's advice and YES bedrest is verry important when diagnosed with threatened abortion or miscarriage
