Help please!!

I've had trouble pooping so my stepmother recommended flaxseed. I sprinkled some on my peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Later I go online to find out that you're not supposed to eat them during pregnancy. Will this result in miscarriage? I am 18 wks 4 days.

Sure u will be fine ! They recomend it after 32 weeks or so cuz it helps to soften and stuff... but one of would do anything to you plus it's good if u have problem pooping! So use it but not to much and just drink plenty and plenty of water. I had horrible time pooping too... loads of water and healthy eating xxxx

Do. Not. Take. Laxatives.
That's not good for you at all! Especially the baby! Can you imagine the poor thing in there pooing uncontrollably? I was told and have read not to take laxatives at all. Stool softeners are better.

I'm sure your baby will be fine just talk to your doctor tell him you had flaxseed and see what he says. He will more than likely tell you about mirilax

I heard flaxseed is not recommended during pregnancy... take mirilax. A cap full in any type of drink. It softens your stool so it's not a laxative bit it helps!

I have never heard of this, but if you're constipated don't eat peanut butter. The best way to relieve constipation in pregnancy is milk of magnesia. It is a life savor. I hope everything is well with you and baby
